Dear Friends of Nails to Tails,
As we prepare for the year ahead, I want to share several updates designed to improve your experience and ensure the best possible care for your pets. Thank you for taking a moment to read through these important changes, all effective January 1, 2026.
Updated Hours of Operation
To maintain the highest quality of one-on-one grooming, our schedule will be shifting to the following:
-
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
-
Wednesday Late Night: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Saturday: Every other Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
-
Friday & Sunday: Closed
All services remain appointment-only to keep the calm, stress-free environment your pets are used to. These changes will allow me to continue providing the highest level of care and attention your pets deserve, while maintaining a sustainable balance in my schedule and health.

I understand that changes in pricing can be challenging. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to discuss options and work together to find a solution that keeps your pet’s care on track.
Policy Updates
To better support scheduling consistency and reduce no-show disruptions, the following policies will also take effect:
-
Nails to Tails is not accepting new clients at this time.
-
Appointments are highly recommended every 4–8 weeks to maintain coat health.
-
No-show appointments will be charged the full grooming rate.
-
Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged half the grooming rate.
-
Frequent cancellations may result in limited future scheduling availability.
-
Updated vaccination certificates must be provided and kept on file to ensure the safety of all pets in our care.
-
We will no longer offer dog walking, in-home services, or full grooming/bathing for cats. Nail trims, brushing, and light trimming for felines will still be available. We are happy to provide recommendations for trusted local pet care providers for all your pet care needs.
Updated and existing policies will also be listed on our website: https://www.nailstotailspet.com/policy-5
Premium Shampoo Upgrade
I’m excited to share that Nails to Tails will now be using top-of-the-line IV San Bernard shampoo, formulated to support optimal skin and coat health. This upgrade ensures your pets receive the highest-quality care during every visit.
IV San Bernard grooming products combine natural botanicals with advanced cosmetic science to improve both skin and coat health. IV San Bernard's Advanced European shampoos are formulated with high-quality, skin-safe ingredients that gently cleanse while supporting healthy, resilient coats that reduce dryness, irritation, and shedding, leaving your pet’s skin balanced and their coat soft, shiny, and beautifully conditioned.
New Booking Software + Automated Notifications
To improve communication and reduce missed appointments, I will begin using a new booking system that sends automated text and email reminders.
To receive these reminders, clients will need to opt in to text messaging or email notifications. This system will make scheduling smoother, faster, and more reliable for everyone.
Thank you all for your understanding, loyalty, and trust as Nails to Tails continues to grow. These updates allow me to keep providing the calm, focused, and compassionate care your pets deserve. I truly appreciate you being part of our family, and look forward to continuing to serve you and your pets in the New Year.
